Culinary Dropout is an energetic, upscale-casual gastropub known for elevated comfort food, craft cocktails, and a music-driven atmosphere. Often described as the “wild child” of Fox Restaurant Concepts, the brand blends rebellious personality with a polished dining experience.
The creative direction draws from the idea of a culinary school dropout who rejected the traditional path to create something bold, gritty, and unforgettable. From the tattooed staff to the high-energy atmosphere, every detail contributes to the restaurant’s effortlessly cool identity.
This menu design captures the brand’s rebellious spirit through bold typography, expressive layouts, and a raw yet refined aesthetic. Printed on butcher paper, the menu embraces a natural, handcrafted feel that reinforces the brand’s unapologetically authentic identity. A minimal palette of black, white, and red was chosen to create strong contrast while complementing the restaurant’s bold, gritty atmosphere.
